Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters is participating in its to start with Melbourne Food and Wine Competition, when also celebrating three of the restaurants, and its sister venue Farmer’s Daughters, gifted feminine cooks.
On Thursday, March 30, from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, Fed Square’s renowned venue will host a specific evening meal titled Victorian Female Excellence.
The night will consist of a five-training course meal, with the menu made by cooks Iman Mohamed, Daniela Martinez and Raina Kadar, and will be accompanied by wines made by Victoria’s leading woman winemakers.
As to be envisioned, each and every dish will target on Victorian elements, and for this one-night time only specific the substances will be provided by woman producers.
There will be Forge Creek eggs from Forge Creek Free Assortment, Amber Creek Pork from Amber Creek Farm, mushrooms from Wattle Bank Farm and goat nectar from Holy Goat Cheese.
Included in the menu will be Fried Spud Sisters potatoes, Guiso sauce and goose excess fat Forge Creek egg, curried carrot and mushroom croquette, tamarind jam and curry leaf Amber Creek pork served with preserved tomato, crisp potato and rocoto chilli and a dessert of white chocolate, lemon myrtle, finger lime and beeswax.
To accompany the divine meal, the Sommelier team has curated a range of accompanying wines for obtain, which involve Avani wines (Shashi Singh), Fowl on a Wire and Zonzo (Caroline Mooney), Billy Button wines (Jo Marsh) and Yeringberg Vineyard (Sandra de Pury).
Tickets are $150pp for foodstuff, with drinks obtainable to acquire.
