Police are appealing to witnesses just after a donation tin was stolen from a Bourke St police station on March 9.
Investigators consider a Caucasian gentleman in his 40s, of medium construct, entered the building’s lobby about 9.50pm.
“Once inside the person has eliminated a donation tin from driving a Perspex barrier and has positioned it in his bag before leaving the property,” a police spokesperson said.
At the time of the incident, the guy was caught on CCTV donning a dim colored hooded best, jeans, dim colored runners, and a bandage wrapped all-around his head.
